preparation
A tiramisù is a wonderfully creamy dessert. But sometimes alcohol doesn't suit guests, or coffee isn't requested, so the classic Italian dessert favorite isn't for everyone. But here cream meets strawberries and orange notes... delicious and a great dessert for the children too!
First prepare a nice shape and prepare the cream: Beat the mascarpone and yoghurt in a large bowl with a hand mixer, add 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar, (birch) sugar and the peel of an organic orange. Squeeze the oranges and stir about 2 teaspoons of the juice into the cream. Clean the strawberries and put the nicest 8 berries aside for decoration, the rest in small onesCut into cubes.
The first layer begins with the ladyfingers: place them in the mold and drizzle a little orange juice over them with a spoon. Then spread about half of the cream on top and top with a few spoonfuls of the chopped strawberries so that they are nicely distributed over the whole cream. This is followed by the second layer: start again with the ladyfingers, drizzle with orange juice and, as a final step, spread the remaining cream over them. Now put the mold in the fridge to cool for at least 2 hours. (4 hours would be better, of course, but who can wait that long?)
In the meantime, heat the remaining strawberries with the remaining orange juice and 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar in a small saucepan and simmer. Then mix with a hand blender into a fine strawberry puree and cool. Before serving, spread the strawberry puree over the tiramisù, decorate with the beautiful strawberries (in slices, pieces or even whole) and a few flowers from the garden and enjoy.
