Would you like a refreshingly fruity appetizer? Then this colorful summer salad is just right for you.
Wash, spin and pick lettuce. Peel an orange and cut it into slices. Squeeze the second orange and set the juice aside. Cut the pomegranate like you would an avocado and twist it open. Now remove the fruity seeds from the two halves. To do this, it is best to tap one pomegranate half into a prepared bowl over the sink with a wooden spoon. Be sure to collect the juice in the bowl for the dressing. Spread the pomegranate seeds and orange slices generously over the salad.
Finally, prepare the dressing: Mix olive oil with pomegranate and orange juice, vinegar, a good pinch of salt and a small pinch of pepper and chill briefly. Sprinkle over the salad immediately before serving and enjoy in the sun.
