Ingredients

  • 6-8 chard leaves (with stem)
  • 2 stalks of spring onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 small carrot
  • 5 medium potatoes
  • 1 (large) chicken breast
  • olive oil
  • butter
  • thyme
  • Salt pepper

preparation

First boil the potatoes, rinse them well with cold water, peel them and set them aside to evaporate.

Cut the chicken breast into small pieces and fry well in a deep pan (preferably in a wok) in a little olive oil and butter. Season with salt, pepper and possibly a pinch of grilled chicken seasoning and remove from the pan. Now add the spring onions, cut into fine rings, to the pan and sauté lightly. If necessary, add a little more olive oil to the pan. Add the chopped garlic and the chopped carrot and toss everything well.

Separate the chard into stem and leaf. Cut the stems into small pieces and add them to the pan. Add the potatoes, sliced ​​or cut into pieces, to the pan and fry well with a piece of butter.

Finally, stir in the fried chicken pieces and the chard leaves cut into thin strips. Season everything with salt, pepper and some freshly picked thyme and serve!
